HOUSTON, TX – Riggy’s, a company solving the truck parking and trailer storage problem in the United States, today announced the opening of its first Houston, TX location. This new Riggy’s location will bring much needed semi-truck parking and outdoor storage space to Houston at a time when demand is growing, and no meaningful supply of truck parking and trailer drop yards is being brought to market.
“Riggy’s was started with the goal of solving one of the greatest challenges for every truck driver and carrier in the U.S.; 18-wheeler parking and trailer storage”, states David Olson, co-Founder of Riggy’s. “Not only does the logistics industry need more suitable outdoor storage space, but it’s finally time that someone step up and make sure that every truck driver has a safe and secure place to park their 18- wheeler, both while on the road as well as back at home. Riggy’s is that someone.”
The new Riggy’s location opens on November 15th , 2021, and will be located in Northeast Houston right of off Beltway 8 and Hwy 90 at 11211 Hornberger Rd. The 10-acre semi-truck parking and storage yard will provide 250 parking spots in a secure facility. In addition to parking, there is also office and warehouse space for rent for any carriers looking for a base of operations for their trucking business.
Riggy’s has started taking early-reservations at it Hornberger Rd. location and anyone interested in renting at Houston’s premier truck parking facility is encouraged to visit www.riggysparking.com to join the waitlist.
The Company is scheduled to open two additional 18-wheeler parking locations in Houston in the coming months as it expands it services across the region.
